I mentioned in a previous post that I have access to 2 Mitsubish Movemaster RV-M1 robot arms. I also have access to a Kinect for XBox One. I also have a presentation to give in a month or so demonstrating STEM. Add all three of those together, and what do you get? Two robot arms replicating my own arms!
So here’s the concept: using the Kinect I can track my arms and get joint locations. I can then control the robot arms to copy my arms. Is this useful? Probably not. But it will be an insanely awesome demonstration! Check back for future posts as I work through this project!
